Frequently asked questions
How do you collect consent?
Before sending, every person confirms your consent text; without the tick, no review goes out. Mocha stores the version, wording and time. When you change the text, a new version is created and earlier consents stay provable. You can export the log as CSV at any time.
Where is the data stored?
The application and database run on servers in Germany (Hetzner). Photos and videos are stored by the EU provider Bunny.net. For emails and AI features, the content they need is sent to service providers in the USA (Resend, Anthropic); the details are in the privacy policy.
Can reviews appear anonymously?
Yes. You decide how names appear in public: in full, as first name and initial, as initials only or anonymous. On top of that, each person can hide their name themselves. With initials or anonymous display, photo and job title are not shown either.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. You cancel in a few clicks in the customer portal under “Billing”. Your account then moves to the free plan and your reviews are kept.
How does Mocha work with Google reviews?
Mocha complements your Google profile: after sending, a button can lead straight to your Google review page (Pro plan), and existing Google reviews can be imported into Mocha: by hand on every plan, and on the Pro plan additionally every day automatically.
Do I need a developer?
No. The form link and QR code work right away. For your website, you copy one line of code, for example into WordPress, Wix or Jimdo.
