Mocha for Psychotherapy

Feedback from your clients, with consent from the start

People looking for therapy want to know what working with you feels like. Mocha collects feedback from your clients with documented consent and, if you like, shows it completely anonymously.

Review form asking for consent to publish before sending

Sound familiar?

We hear these questions from psychotherapy practices all the time.

Many clients are happy with their therapy but don't want to review it publicly under their name. And you can't even confirm that someone was in treatment with you.

On review portals, it's often only the few unhappy people who write. You have little say over what appears there.

Collecting feedback by email is tricky under data protection law, and later nobody knows exactly what was agreed to.

How Mocha solves it

What changes with Mocha.

Consent before every piece of feedback: wording, version and time are stored and can be exported as a log.

Anonymous if you like: names appear only as initials or not at all, and photo and job title are never shown then.

Withdrawal without questions: a personal link lets people withdraw their consent at any time, and the feedback then disappears from your website.

Approval before publishing: set it up so nothing goes online without your review.

What you get

  • Versioned consent
  • Anonymous display
  • Withdrawal by link
  • Approval before publishing
  • QR code for the waiting room
  • Widget for your website

Frequently asked questions

How does this fit with my duty of confidentiality?

Mocha is built so that feedback comes from your clients and they explicitly consent before sending it. You never confirm who is in treatment with you. Whether and how you use feedback in your public profile is best checked with your professional chamber; Mocha is not legal advice.

Can feedback appear completely anonymously?

Yes. Set the name display to “Anonymous” or “Initials only”. Then neither name nor photo nor job title is shown. Clients can also hide their name themselves.

What happens when someone withdraws consent?

The feedback is archived and no longer appears in any widget. The log still shows when consent was given and when it was withdrawn.

How do clients get to the form?

Through a QR code in the waiting room, a link in your email signature or a personal invitation by email. The form works on any smartphone.

Where is the data stored?

The application and database run on servers in Germany (Hetzner). Photos and videos are stored by the EU provider Bunny.net. For emails and AI features, the content they need is sent to service providers in the USA (Resend, Anthropic); the details are in the privacy policy.
