Quote list
Made for reading: the quote list for review pages and long text
The quote list shows reviews one below the other, without cards, with stars, the quote in quotation marks, the name and a fine separator line. It reads like a well-set passage of text and suits long reading columns.

What it does for you
Easy to read, without the card look
On a review page, some visitors really want to read. The quote list sets every review below the last in one single panel, without a card of its own: stars if you like, the quote in quotation marks, name and job title below in small type, and a fine line in between. It reads like a carefully set passage of text and fits a long reading column, for example on the page of a physiotherapy practice explaining its treatment approach. Long quotes open fully with “Read more”.
Order by your rules
Under “Options” you decide how many reviews appear: three, five, eight or ten. The “Order” sets the sequence. The default is “Highlighted first”, followed by the newest. If you want to show recency, choose “Newest first”; if you want your top ratings up front, “Best first”. That keeps the list short and convincing on a service page, while the same reviews can appear longer or ordered differently elsewhere.
Stays current and plain
The list fetches its content from your space whenever it loads: new approved reviews appear by themselves, withdrawn ones disappear. A photo is not needed, the list shows names the way you set them under “Privacy”, and imported Google reviews carry the note “via Google”. Under “Appearance” you match theme, border radius, shadow and font size to your page. Anyone who has reduced motion on their device gets calm text anyway, because the list never moves.
Embed code
This is what the code looks like. Copy your own code with all your settings in the dashboard under “Embed” > “Widget” and paste it where the reviews should appear.

Frequently asked questions
How do I add the quote list to my website?
In the dashboard, open your space, go to “Embed” > “Widget” and pick “Quote list” under “Choose a widget”. Set “Appearance” and “Options”, click “Copy code” and paste the code as an HTML block into your page. Guides for WordPress, Elementor, Wix and other platforms are in our help section.
What does the quote list look like on mobile?
The list uses the width of the area it sits in, and the entries stay one below the other, just as on desktop. Long reviews are shortened; “Read more” opens the full text. Because the height before loading is estimated from the page width, the page below can shift slightly when the list appears.
Which reviews appear, and in what order?
Under “Options” you set the “Number” (3, 5, 8 or 10) and the “Order”: “Highlighted first”, “Newest first” or “Best first”. The default is “Highlighted first”: whatever you feature under “Testimonials” comes first, followed by the newest reviews. You switch “Show stars” on or off. Only approved reviews appear.
How much does the quote list cost?
The quote list is included in the free plan, like every widget style, with up to 50 approved reviews and a small “Powered by Mocha” note. On Pro, at €19 a month with a 14-day free trial, the note goes, the number of reviews is unlimited and the list uses your own accent colour.
What about GDPR and cookies?
The quote list sets no cookies. For the statistics in your dashboard, Mocha counts views and clicks but stores no IP addresses. The reviews come from the Mocha form, where every reviewer first agrees to your consent text; names appear the way you set them under “Privacy”. Whether and how to mention the widget in your privacy policy is a question for your data protection adviser.
