Check, approve and feature reviews
Every review of a space lands under "Testimonials". That is where you decide which ones appear in your widgets and which ones come first.
TL;DR in 5 steps
- Open the space and choose "Testimonials" in the "Collect" group.
- Use the "Pending" filter to see the reviews waiting for your decision.
- Open the "More actions" menu (three dots) at the end of a row.
- Choose "Approve" or "Reject", and "Feature" if you want it shown first.
- Under "Privacy", use "Approval required" to decide whether new reviews wait for you.
Published straight away or after approval
Whether new reviews go straight into your widgets depends on the "Approval required" switch. You will find it under "Privacy" in the "Form" group.
- Off (how new spaces start): reviews from the form are "Approved" immediately and appear in your widgets. You can reject any of them later.
- On: new reviews wait as "Pending" until you approve them. Reviewers who entered an email address are told in their confirmation that the review appears once it has been approved.
The switch only affects new reviews; existing ones keep their status. Spaces created before the switch existed have approval turned on.
Review statuses

The "Withdrawn" filter only appears once there is at least one withdrawn review. Consent withdrawal explains what happens then.
Approve or reject reviews
Open “Testimonials”
Choose "Testimonials" in the "Collect" group. The number next to it shows how many reviews are pending. The filters "All", "Pending", "Approved" and "Rejected" narrow the list, and the search box finds names, email addresses and text.
Read the review
Click the excerpt to read the whole review, with email address, consent details and tags. The dashboard always shows the full name. In public, your name display setting applies.
Decide
Open the "More actions" menu (three dots) at the end of the row and choose "Approve" or "Reject". You can still approve a rejected review later, or reject an approved one.
It is quicker from the "Your Spaces" overview: under "Recent Submissions", every pending review has an "Approve" button. The bell in the top right shows how many reviews are awaiting approval. You also get an email for every new review; switch this on or off under "Settings" with "Email me on new testimonial".
Feature reviews
"Feature" in the same menu marks a review with a star. All widgets show featured reviews first, followed by the rest, newest first. "Remove feature" takes the mark off again.
