Export the consent log as a CSV file
The consent log shows, for every review from your form, when consent was given, to which version of the text, and whether it still stands. It documents consent for GDPR purposes and is available on every plan.
TL;DR in 5 steps
- Open the space and choose "Privacy" in the "Form" group.
- Scroll to the "Consent log" section.
- Click "Download log (CSV)".
- Open the file in Excel, Numbers or LibreOffice.
- Find the wording of older text versions under "Consent" in "Earlier versions".
What Mocha stores for each consent
For every review that comes in through your form, Mocha stores:
- the version of the consent text and its wording,
- the date and time consent was given,
- the IP address and browser user agent,
- whether the reviewer ticked "Don't show my name",
- after a withdrawal, when it happened and whether the reviewer or you recorded it.
You can see these details for each review under "Testimonials" in the "Consent" section of its details. The consent log collects them for all reviews of a space in one file.
Download the log
Open “Privacy”
Open the space and choose "Privacy" in the "Form" group.
Download the CSV file
In the "Consent log" section, click "Download log (CSV)". The file name starts with the German word for consent log, for example
einwilligungsprotokoll-parkside-physiotherapy-2026-09-28.csv.
What the file contains
Each row is one review, oldest first.
| Column | Content |
|---|---|
| "Review ID" | the review's unique ID in Mocha |
| "Name" | the name according to your name display, not the full name |
| "Date (UTC)" | when consent was given |
| "Consent version" | the version of the text that was agreed to |
| "IP address" | empty once it has been removed after three years |
| "Status" | "granted" or "withdrawn" |
| "Withdrawn on (UTC)" | only after a withdrawal |
| "Note" | for example the note on version 0 |
The column headings follow your dashboard language. With English, columns are separated by commas; with German, by semicolons. Special characters such as umlauts are kept. All times are in UTC, so convert them to your local time where needed. The browser user agent is not in the file, only in the review's details.
Versions of the consent text
You edit the text under "Privacy" in the "Consent text" field. Every change becomes a new version when you save; beforehand, the field tells you, for example, "Saving creates version 3." Older versions stay unchanged and are listed with their date under "Earlier versions". Each consent keeps the wording that was agreed to. Changing only spaces or blank lines does not create a new version.
"Use suggested text" inserts Mocha's suggestion with your space name and contact address. Whether that wording suits your practice or firm is a question to put to your data protection adviser.
How long the data is kept
Three years after consent was given, Mocha removes the IP address and browser user agent automatically. Version, wording, time and status are kept for as long as the review exists. If you delete a single review, its record goes with it. If you delete the whole space, Mocha reduces the records to wording, version and time and deletes them after three years.
