Pricing model: tiers or fixed plans

Trustmary builds the price from tiers, for widget views and for survey responses.[1] At entry level that means: The price is built from tiers: widget views from €15 (5,000 per month) plus responses from €9 (10 per month), each per month when billed monthly, plus taxes.[1] That suits you if you can estimate views and responses well or send many surveys.

Mocha has fixed plans. On the free plan they limit reviews and videos, not the views of your widgets. For a practice with steady website traffic, a fixed price is easier to plan.

Surveys and imports: Trustmary is ahead here

Trustmary offers surveys to measure NPS.[4] Import runs automatically from Google, Facebook, G2, Capterra, Tripadvisor and Yelp, once on the free plan and daily on paid plans.[3] Phone support with a dedicated contact is available as an add-on.[1]

Mocha imports from Google, manually on the free plan and daily in Pro. A feedback survey on a 0 to 10 scale is its own form type.

Trustmary's account settings include a setting for consent and the privacy policy URL.[2] A consent log is not described in that help article. For displaying names, the help centre describes no setting; the name element of the widget can be targeted with custom CSS.[6]

Mocha stores the wording, version and time of consent for every review and sets name display in four levels.

Server location

Trustmary names AWS servers in Ireland.[5] Mocha uses servers in Germany. Both are locations in the EU. Settle with your data protection adviser which details you need from the vendor.

Choose Trustmary if ...

  • You want to import reviews automatically from several sources. Trustmary names Google, Facebook, G2, Capterra, Tripadvisor and Yelp.[3]
  • You want NPS surveys in a tool that also offers imports and widgets. Trustmary has a dedicated survey for this.[4]
  • You want to book phone support and a dedicated contact as an add-on. Trustmary lists both as an add-on.[1]

Choose Mocha if ...

  • You want a fixed plan without tiers for widget views and responses.
  • You want to prove the consent of every review with wording, version and time.
  • You want to set name display in levels.
  • You want servers in Germany and a German interface, form and help.

Frequently asked questions

How does the pricing model differ?

Trustmary builds the price from tiers for widget views and survey responses. Mocha has fixed plans that limit reviews and videos, not the views of your widgets. The exact figures are in the table above with a source.

Both name EU servers. What is the difference?

Trustmary names AWS servers in Ireland. Mocha uses servers in Germany. Both are in the EU; whether a location in Germany matters to you is something to settle with your data protection adviser.

Does Mocha have NPS surveys too?

Yes. The feedback survey is its own form type with a 0 to 10 scale. Its answers are evaluated separately from reviews and never appear in a widget.

Can I bring my Trustmary reviews over?

No, Mocha imports reviews from Google, not from other tools. With Mocha you collect new reviews through your form, with consent for every review.
